Day 1

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive along the lake's shores watching flamingos, rhinos, and over 450 bird species. Overnight at lodge.

Day 2

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Morning game drive in Nakuru searching for rhinos and tree-climbing lions. Drive to the Masai Mara arriving in time for a sunset game drive across the vast Mara plains.

Day 3

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara Game Drives

Full day of game drives exploring the Masai Mara's different zones. Morning and afternoon drives searching for the Big Five and witnessing the daily predator-prey drama.

Day 4

Day 4: Full Day Masai Mara – Optional Balloon Safari

Another full day exploring the Mara. Optional hot air balloon safari at dawn ($450 extra). Afternoon game drive with sundowners in the bush.

Day 5

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

Final morning game drive. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
