Overview

Our 4 Days Accessible Zanzibar Beach Extension is designed to follow on naturally from any Tanzania safari. We arrange accessible transfers from Zanzibar International Airport, a stay at a personally inspected wheelchair-friendly beach resort with step-free pathways, roll-in showers and accessible dining, and beach wheelchairs available on request so every guest can enjoy the white sand and turquoise water. Optional inclusive excursions include accessible Stone Town walking tours, a private accessible spice tour and gentle accessible boat trips to nearby reefs.

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar — Accessible Beach Transfer

Accessible airport pick-up from Zanzibar International Airport. Comfortable transfer to your accessible beach resort on the north or east coast (Nungwi, Kendwa or Pongwe). Check in to your step-free room with roll-in shower, then enjoy a relaxed sundowner on the beach.

Day 2

Day 2: Beach Day & Optional Accessible Spice Tour

A full day at leisure on the beach with optional beach wheelchair available for sand access. Afternoon option: private accessible spice tour to a working plantation with step-free pathways and a guided tasting under shade.

Day 3

Day 3: Accessible Stone Town Day Tour

Private accessible day tour of historic Stone Town — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide leads a route with the smoothest surfaces and ramps, covering the Old Fort, House of Wonders, the former slave market memorial and the Forodhani Gardens, with an accessible seafood lunch.
